Use customer-file assets to group customer context and related installations.
The current SmartgridX navigation adds a Customers entry when the device forest contains at least one customerFile node. Customer records are therefore portfolio assets, not merely address-book entries.
The customer table shows organisational records and how many installations belong to each record. All example entries are anonymized.
Opening a customer record exposes the installations and devices organised beneath that customer context.
Customer, contact, and user are different objects
A customer record organises assets. A contact stores communication details. A user receives portal access through a role. Creating one does not automatically create the other two.
